There are two ways to get here from Mohipal in Feni-

1. Get on any bus from Mohipal to Noakhali. Tell me to take it down to Sebarhat market. Sebarhat Bazar is located in Noakhali district, only one kilometer away from the last boundary of Feni district. Get off the bus at Sebarhat Bazar and go to the left (north side) of the market. There is an iron bridge, just tell someone about the CNG going to Pratappur. Read up on CNG. Pratappur zamidar's house is next to Pratappur market.

2. Get on any CNG from Mohipal to Rajapur or Koraesh Munshi Bazar. From there, if you tell CNGwala, he will take you to Pratappur zamidar's house.

 

Details

Introduction: It is located in Pratappur area of ​​Daganbhuiyan upazila of Feni district. This zamidar 
house was built around 1850 or 1860. According to another source, the construction of this zamidar's 
house was completed on 13 Falgun of Bengal 1228. The founders of this zamidar house were Rajkrishna 
Saha or Ramnath Krishna Saha. To the locals it is known as Pratappur Big House. This zamidar house 
was built over an area of ​​about 13 acres. The house has 10 buildings and 13 ponds. Of these, 5 ponds 
have been constructed. 
This zamidar was at the top of all the zamidars around this area. Zamidar Ramnath had five brothers. 
They lived in five two-story buildings. The descendants of this zamidar were in this zamidar house till 
1996 even after the abolition of zamidari system. Due to lack of security, business and communication 
problems, his family left the big house in 1998 and migrated to Dhaka, Chittagong, Kolkata and Tripura. 
The house is still owned by the descendants of the zamidar. The locals know it as Boro Bari / Sahu Bari.
